I believe that practicing yoga can benefit everyone; it will remind your body that it can do so much more than sit in a chair or at a desk, and give you the tools to deal with busy and sometimes stressful lives. Everybody is “flexible enough” to enjoy a yoga class and leave feeling taller, lighter, more alive – more yourself!
The classes I teach are suitable for all levels of experience, fitness & flexibility, with a relaxed style where all can feel comfortable, whatever their level.
What do I need to wear/ bring/ do?
- Loose comfortable clothing or gym-wear are ideal – basically, you need to be able to move freely. Also, layers are a good idea, so that you are warm enough for a comfortable relaxation at the end of the session. Yoga is practiced in bare feet.
- If you have your own mat, do please bring it along. I will provide spares if you don’t, along with all other props that you will need.
- Please don’t eat anything substantial in the two hours before the class – yoga is far less comfortable on a full stomach!
“Kim’s classes are very well structured and flexible to meet the needs of the class and as an older, inflexible, male, almost beginner, I was very happy about that and I didn’t ache the next day (well not too much!)” – Martin
